This blog is about life after the wedding. I got married Aug. 28, 2010 to my college sweetheart and now, we live in Calistoga (North Napa Valley). Here, I will share our adventures as a new couple living in wonderful Napa. This is also an attempt to stay in touch with my family and friends. Despite the distance, and despite a new phase in my life, you are always in my thoughts and in my heart.

In Segovia
This is one of my favorite pictures of us. It is in Segovia, Spain. Segovia is a small town about an hour away from Madrid. I used to like to go there for a day get away. They have excellent lamb and roasted suckling pig. Mmm! Se me hace agua la boca. Of course, the main attraction is the Roman aqueduct built with only rocks (no mortar!) Those Romans, I tell you! Que inteligencia! The aqueduct was built by the Romans around the late 1st Century AD to supply water to the roman military fort on the hill. The water flowed from a channel at the top and supplied the whole city. It's a mesmerizing scene.
